Thanks from Church – we are proud to be part of our community

Dear Mr Rawson, 4th December 2023

On behalf of everyone at St Matthew’s, I would like to thank you, the parents and, most of all, the children who have supported the events and activities which have taken place in Church over the last few days.

It was wonderful to see so many people on Friday night when we lit up the nativity stable, especially as it was so cold. The children’s singing was beautiful and their enthusiasm so infectious; they really made the evening very special.

Again today, when Year 3 visited for Experience Christmas, their knowledge and behaviour were amazing. The children were so polite when interacting with adults and are to be congratulated. They are a credit to both the school and their parents, and everyone should be very proud.

Finally, I wish you all God’s Blessings for a Peaceful and Happy Christmas.

Louise

BSAT Coffee Morning and Evenings

Email for parents/carers

Dear parents/carers,

The Behaviour Support Advisory Team (BSAT) are hosting coffee mornings and evenings half termly at The Linden Centre, Primary Specialist, Overdale, and we would be thrilled if you could join us!

Our aim is to support families whose children may be experiencing behaviour issues at school as quickly and effectively as possible.

The team will be able to discuss behaviour issues, offering advice and guidance, explain certain procedures, such as suspensions or modified timetables, so that parents/carers are able to support their young people in the best way possible. The team will also be able to signpost Telford & Wrekin services available to you, to help ensure our families are able to access the best and most appropriate support.

As a team, we would also like to gather your opinions or ideas on how BSAT can further support students in school.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Many thanks,

Kind Regards

Becky
