June
Monday 1st June: Term Starts
Friday 5th June: Selected pupils debate at Southwater.
Wednesday 10th June : Please come to school in PE kit and bring water and weather appropriate clothing and sun lotion.
On the 10th June your local Active Partnership Energize Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin will be running a Sport and wellbeing festival on the School grounds for all of the Donnington Wood pupils. The aim of the event is to introduce the pupils to new activities, be active and have fun whilst doing so!
All of the event leads that will be running the activities are local to the Donnington area and we will be working with the providers to deliver activities in and around the school after the event. This could be running after school clubs at the school, offering discounted prices for pupils to attend their clubs during the week or even looking at what can be provided in the School holidays. Children will be taking part in the following eight activities:

• – Cricket
• – Archery
• – Squash
• – Nerf Activity
• – Basketball
• – Dodgeball
• – Art
• – Football

We hope that having these activities on show will help engage the pupils to be active and also try something new in the process.
We look forward to working with the School staff and pupils on the 10th June.
