Key Workers

Along with Donnington Wood Infants, we are looking at how we can continue to provide for the children of key workers and our most vulnerable pupils. Due to the fact we have only just received this information, things are likely to change.

The government has published it guidelines for Key Working (check the government website or ours).

HOWEVER, if it is at all possible for children to be at home, then they should be.

If you are entitled, please text the school BY 1pm today and we will ring you back to discuss your needs and check the entitlement. We will need to be satisfied that: If children can stay safely at home, they should, to limit the chance of the virus spreading.

If you miss the deadline today, still text into school but we will contact you on Monday to possibly arrange further places later in the week or to match shift patterns.

On Monday our hours will be 9am – 2pm but please do not attend if you have not arranged this with us beforehand. Then, depending on need, we will look to adjust these hours.

Can I say a massive thank you to all of my fantastic team, who are working flat out to make this happen.

Please also note that, due to the nature of the virus and symptoms we may have to limit this service, move location or cancel it. We also hope that we can eventually increase it too.

I will update during the day.
