This Letter is coming home with the Year 6 Parents Tonight.
We will send out the transition letter tomorrow. We will be offering all pupils in Year 2- Year 5 4 days in school transition work.

Morrisons have been supporting our school since lockdown began with over 600 food parcels!
Last night they literally delivered a truck load of food. If you want a food parcel for yourself or a family member just text us and we will sort some for you.

Stay and Play
We have refined the plan a little and will now text you on the day. The times have also changed slightly
1:40 – 2:40.
Your reply must include the name of child and class. Reply by text.
Year 3O Monday- we will text you Monday morning at 9 and need a response by 10:30. Arrive on time, not early.
Year 3P Tuesday- we will text you Tuesday morning at 9 and need a response by 10:30. Arrive on time, not early.
Year 4O Wednesday- we will text you Wednesday morning at 9 and need a response by 10:30. Arrive on time, not early.
Year 4B Thursday- we will text you Thursday morning at 9 and need a response by 10:30. Arrive on time, not early.
If rain is forecast, we will cancel the day and move you to the next day.
If your child already comes in for a session they cannot come to the stay and play as they are not in that bubble.
We will publish the Transition information this week. All pupils will get 4 days in the school.
On Wednesday we will start our Stay and Play offer for selected classes.
This Wednesday 24th will be from 1:30- 2:30 for INVITED CLASSES, with details attached.
We will text when it is your classes turn. They will be based on a field and it will be hot on Wednesday, so make sure dressed for PE and the heat.
We will then roll it out across the school next week.
Please reply with name of child, class so we have rough idea of numbers.
The details of how we are managing the risk are attached.
We are looking into how we offer transition, and are waiting for government advice.
These are our proposals we have been telling you about.
We will trial it next week and then start the week after if Risk can be managed as stated.
It is completely optional but will be a way to see as many of you as possible before formal transfer days.

We are looking at welcoming more children in for activities based on field and transition work, this will be based on a rota with half class in on half a week.

Good morning all,
We will be ringing all Year 3- 5 parents over the next two weeks. We will let you know about SeeSaw and start to discuss options for a return to school.
We will try and ring you twice. If we do not hear from you, we will not ring back.

Dear Year 6 Parents,
We will be ringing you today to discuss end of term arrangements. If your child is not currently in, we need to know if you are going to send your child back, as we are able to welcome other classes and offer places to other children.
The government has stated: Schools should ascertain if those parents want to take up the offer, making it clear that if they indicate that they do not, or do not respond, schools may offer this capacity to another pupil in which case they won’t subsequently be able to take up a place this term.
We will then be adjusting our bubbles for a final time, to ensure we can keep pupils safe, this might include going to a Rota, say Monday/Tuesday to include as many pupils as we can.
Please note, it will not be the usual end of term fun activities for Year 6, no independent long writes or Bouncy Castles and we are planning something / would like to work with you to offer something in September (as soon as safe) to say a proper fair well.

Good Afternoon all,
It has been a good week welcoming back our year 6s and we have reviewed our risk assessment (will upload on Monday).
The government has announced that they will not be pushing for all pupils to be back before the summer, but may allow more flexibility for us to see what we can do. We will wait for some more information, however, fully intend to be creative in getting as many pupils back as we can. This might be having lessons on the field, mornings or afternoon sessions or based on a Rota. We will share this with you all soon.
Class teachers will be ringing all pupils not currently in school next week to see how your child is getting on and to share with you SeeSaw, our new online learning site.
Changes that will appear in the risk assessment:
We are making provision for a Green Group- these pupils will be based on the field and hall (if raining). This is part of our plan to welcome back more pupils but this will build up slowly.
We will adjust the times slightly, we will give you warning of this.
We will, as per SAGE, advice allow up to 10 pupils per classroom, where we can keep 2M distance. Some classes are smaller and some bigger.
WE WILL KEEP our procedure of sending the whole bubble home if a child goes home with a temperature. The government asks us to wait for a positive test, however we will carry this on while the R number remains high. Test results are getting quicker, and hopefully it would only mean a 1 day absence, but for the safety of all this is what we will continue to do. It is only the child that was in the bubble that needs to isolate. (i.e. parents could still go out). We will let you know ASAP any outcome of the test.
If you are a key worker you need to let us know by Wednesday that you require a place.
If you are a Year 6 Parent, you also need to let us know by Wednesday that you would like them to return. If we are unable to run a year 6 provision in the future we will also let you know.
