Events and Entertainment
1. Eid Mela: An event for women and children and boys under 10yrs to celebrate Eid al Adha. At Watling Community Centre in Arleston, Wellington. Sunday 13th October, 4pm-7pm. Children’s activities, various stalls, information stands and great food. All ladies welcome.
2. Severn Gorge Countryside trust Activities: 2 events: Wooden reindeer making on 23rd Oct and Halloween Jinks (for families) on 31st Oct.
3. Harvest Auction: A charity event organised by St Matthews church, Donnington Wood on Tues 8th October
Parent and 0-5yrs
4. Additional Needs Group Wellington: For parents /carers and 0-5yr olds at Short Wood Children’s Centre, Wellington every Monday afternoon.
5. Bump to Baby: A weekly session starting Fri 28th Oct for expectant parents and parents/carers of children aged 0 – 18 months.

6. Future Farm Wellington: Wellington Town Council wants to shape a vision for Wellington town centre in 2020 – how it should look, how it should feel, and what it should offer to residents and visitors. Come along to ‘Future Farm’ on 12th October and tell us what you think. (Full explanation also attached)

1. Computing for jobseekers starting 28th Oct: FREE 4-day course at Donnington Lifelong Learning Centre
2. CVS Basis digital marketing on 24th Oct: For community and voluntary groups who want to know how to use digital media to help marketing
3. Food Hygiene & First Aid starting 28th Nov: At Watling Community centre in Arleston: This course is an ideal opportunity to obtain 2 qualifications in a short period of time. Useful for anyone looking for employment in catering, it’s great for community groups who do any form of refreshments/catering at events, or for as a stepping stone to gaining employment.
4. Internet & Email course for beginners starting 8th Oct: In Wellington.This course is ideal for people who are beginners in using a computer and need to learn how to access the internet and use email.
5. English & Maths Free course: Every Monday in Ketley Community Centre
Health and Fitness
6. Women-only exercise:New taster session in Pilates on Wed 9th Oct Castlefarm CC in Hadley. Plus weekly swimming sessions at Short Wood pool in Wellington
7. Fitness classes in Telford: Various types of classes across the borough at affordable cost.
8. Free health checks for dogs: Across several venues in the borough week beginning 21st October. Run by an experienced PDSA veterinary nurse.
