End of Term Letter

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we conclude another amazing year, I am incredibly proud of how everyone has flourished. This time of year prompts us to reflect on our journey and celebrate our successes.

We’ve had some fantastic adventures, including farm visits, a trip to Carding Mill Valley, rock climbing, Reindeer Relay, and an outing to Blists Hill, to name just a few. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed our indoor reading picnic and the summer fete. The Christmas show was also a highlight, even though it feels like a long time ago now.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your unwavering support throughout the year. I am sure you will join me in expressing our gratitude to the fantastic staff of our school.

Our SIAMS visit underscored some amazing strengths, and we are eager to build on these as we move into the next year. Our school remains a safe haven for our students.

Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on reading, math reasoning, problem-solving, and encouraging students to discuss their learning. Our school is dedicated to improving outcomes for all and providing every pupil with the best possible start.

For additional ideas and support, please visit our website.

Finally, I wish our Year 6 students the best of luck in their new adventures.

Thank you for your continued support.

We return Tuesday 3rd September at 8:25.

Best regards,

Mr. Fox and the Entire Team

Some news from our junior section is that one of our former players has been selected for Team GB in the Olympics, something the club is immensely proud of.

It’s the club’s 130th anniversary season so we’re looking to promote the club to get as many people trying hockey so we’ll be sharing more information with you to get kids active.

WE LOVE READING
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are delighted to invite you and your family to our inaugural Reading Picnic at Donnington Wood! This special event is designed to celebrate the joys of reading and to engage our school community in literacy activities in a fun and relaxed setting.
