TRANSFER DAYS

Transfer days

We are really excited about the new school year.

MONDAY: Current Year 3, 4 and 5 to come to school as normal. During morning they will go to their new classes. They will leave via their current classes. Year groups classes are being mixed up, each child chose people to be placed with and we have designed classes around this. Some children may be worried about this, but as mentioned before, we are planning lots of events to make them feel part of the team.

Year 6s that are not at their secondaries are expected to be in school as normal, they will be based in the hall. (Come to the front door of school)

TUESDAY: Pupils will go straight to their new classes and leave via their new classes.

Consultation on opening hours

Thank you for your feedback. Following consolation, School Gates will open at 8:30 from September and Registers taken at 8:35. Pupils will need to be in school by 8:35.

There are now two carparks at the front of school (hidden turning off Winifred’s drive). Please use them.

Trip to Hoo Zoo

We had an amazing time there learning about how we can conserve the planet.

Diamond jubilee

Good afternoon,

Friday 27th May – Queen’s Jubilee celebrations

Tomorrow we will be holding a special Jubilee Class Assembly for parents and carers to attend at 2.15pm. Weather permitting, these will be held on the school field.

All classes will be based around the field in designated areas. Please note, only the main school gate will be open for parents to enter through. Please be careful as you walk across the field to join your child’s class. Your child will be able to leave school with you immediately afterwards.

Year 3 classes will be closest to the gate, then Year 4, 5 and Year 6 furthest away. If you have more than one child, you will need to go between classes to watch their presentations.

Earlier in the day for tomorrow’s lunch time, we are holding a special picnic lunch on the field for all children and staff to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee.

We hope you can join with us for our special celebration of this unique, historic event and we look forward to welcoming you at 2.15pm.

If you cannot attend, please note that your child will leave school, or can be collected, at the normal time of 2:45pm.

The weather is forecast to be good, but if it rains the field event will be cancelled and we will present Class Assemblies via video on Seesaw.

Thank you for your continued support.
